Why use pavers for a pool deck?

Pool deck pavers are not only stunning and beautiful, but they are also a safe and smart choice for any pool deck paver installation.

With a variety of finishes offered, pool deck pavers are slip resistant and often prevent the most common poolside injuries. If installed correctly, using pool deck pavers can improve the home’s drainage system and minimize water issues.

At Eminent Pavers we stand behind our work to exceed your expectations and ensure that you are more than delighted with the end result of your pool deck pavers project.

Our Pool Deck Pavers Recommendations

Although there is a large variety of pavers that can be used for pool decks, we recommend the Angelus Courtyard Stone, Belgard Lafitt Rustic Slab and Belgard Lafitt Grana Slab pavers. Based off our experience and knowledge, these pavers are the most common and highly recommended for pool decks.

What additional costs may be added to my pool deck paver installation?

While we provide you with a starting price for your paving stone pool deck installation, in some projects there may be additional services and products that can be required, such as the following:
1
Access considerations: Backyards that do not allow ample access for standard industry tools and machinery, such as trucks, forklifts and bobcats to move material (i.e. pavers, sand, base, tools, demolition and other materials), require additional manual labor and time. As a result, an additional cost will occur in your pool deck .
2
Tree and plant root removal: Existing root structures within your pool deck area must be removed prior to the installation. Successful removal of these root structures will ensure the long-term integrity of your installation.
3
Walls, planters, steps, BBQs and/or fire pit(s)/Fireplace: You may have the desire for additions such as walls, planters, steps, and/or fire pit(s). These optional custom work add-ons will increase the cost of the project. However, we provide these itemized cost additions with your .
4
Pool coping: Pool deck paving stone installation also carries a couple of potential additional costs that are unique to pool work. , for example, is a time-consuming installation process that requires setting concrete on top of the pool bond beam. Paver cuts and leveling uses a material that costs more than the pavers do, and are necessary during pool coping, resulting in increased cost.
5
Pool Plaster and Tile: One other potential additional cost unique to pool work is pool re-plastering and tiling. Many customers will find that their pool must be re-plastered and refreshed with new tile during pool deck and coping replacement. Eminent Pavers does not provide pool re-plastering service, and this process would require work with another contractor that is not included in your Eminent Pavers project estimate.
6
Grading: If you already have or asphalt, then the area is level. But if there’s a slope or soil bumps, then grading is necessary to remove the extra soil. This process requires an additional cost due to extra labor and the use of materials such as trucks needed to haul away and dump the extra soil. The additional fees include truck, dump and delivery fees.
7
Paver Cutting: In a project where the design involves multiple cuts, curves, borders, steps and , there are extra paver cuts that need to be discarded. More time and materials are required to accommodate for these custom designs, resulting in an additional cost to your project.
